The curriculum from Years 7-11 focuses on a broad, balanced and stimulating range of study.

Year 7 (3 groups)

English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Education, French, Second Language (Carousel of Classics, German and  Spanish), Technology, Art, Information Technology, History, Geography, Music, PE and Games, PD (Personal Development).

Year 8 (3 groups)

English, Mathematics, Science, Religious Education, French, Second Language (Classical Civilisation or Spanish), Technology, Art, Information Technology, History, Geography, Music, PE and Games, PSHEE.

Year 9 (4 groups)

English, Mathematics, Religious Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Technology, Art, History, Geography, Music, Second Language (Classical Civilsation, German, Latin or Spanish), Information Technology, PE and Games, PD.

Years 10 (4 groups)

Core for all:-

English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Chemistry, RE, PE and Games.

Options:-

Art, Business Studies, Geography, Graphic Products, History, German, Economics, French, Information Technology, RE, Latin, Music, PE and Games, Resistant Materials, Spanish.

Year 11 (3 groups)

Core for all:-

English, Mathematics, a Foreign Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (GSCE Science and GCSE Additional Science), Technology, RE, Information Technology, PE and Games, Business Studies, PD.

Options:-

German, Geography, History, Latin, Art, Music, Spanish, French, Classical Civilisation.

Sixth Form ‘A’ Level subjects (4 must be chosen at AS level)

Other subjects are available according to numbers e.g. Ancient Greek. Students have the opportunity to follow an enrichment programme to complement their A Level studies e.g. Certificate in Financial Studies, Extended Project.
