Involving students from Years 9-13, the Combined Cadet Force plays an integral role in extra-curricular activities at Old Swinford Hospital. Overseen by experienced military personnel, the CCF offers unique opportunities, instils invaluable discipline and promotes genuine leadership qualities in all who participate.

Activities vary from base visits in the UK and abroad, where students are treated like soldiers from the moment they arrive, to flying scholarships and weapons training in the company of serving soldiers.

There is choice and opportunity at every stage and each student is encouraged to find their own path, to tackle new challenges and develop the life skills that will benefit them, whatever path they choose to take.
