Adventure Week

 In the last week of Summer Term, Old Swinford Hospital puts together an inspiring selection of week-long adventure activities that have become an institution of school life.

Adventure Week has taken school groups across Europe, to the south of France and the Bay of Naples and as far afield as Uganda, Namibia and the West Indies.

British-based adventures include canal cruises, RAF and Army bases, activity camps and surfing trips to the coast, each of them balancing fun with the development of teamwork and leadership skills, self-reliance and responsibility. For those wishing to remain at the school, a range of art and design-based courses are also provided.
