Future development

Old Swinford Hospital is now entering a new and exciting chapter in its long history with a new teaching block, performing arts centre and boarding house all now completed.  School numbers rise from 600 to 750 by 2012. Recent improvements to the Sports Centre and the creation of a multi-purpose, all-weather pitch will further boost the school’s success in the sporting arena.

An event to celebrate the official opening of the new school buildings took place on Friday 1 October 2010.
